In December 2023, in a historic collaboration, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery partnered with HULS to host the groundbreaking First-Ever Cadaveric Workshop on the Latest Trends in Shoulder Arthroscopy. This workshop promised a unique hands-on experience, setting the stage for an immersive learning opportunity that would shape the participants’ understanding of cutting-edge practices in orthopaedic surgery.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Brig. Khalid Masood and Col. Khalid Zulfiqar Qureshi, both revered as National Faculty. Their wealth of experience in addressing shoulder injuries and the pivotal role of Arthroscopy in their treatment added a profound layer to the workshop. Participants were enlightened through interactive sessions that delved into the nuances of the field, showcasing the practical applications of arthroscopic techniques.
The significance of the day was further heightened with the presence of Patron in Chief Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, who actively engaged in the interactive session. His involvement underscored the gravity of the event and emphasized its importance within the academic and medical community.
Team HULS visited King Edward Medical University campus. Exploring iconic Library Hall in Patiala Block and the newly constructed Maqbool Ahmed Block, the team culminated their journey in the Forensic Department. Where, they conducted Cadaveric Session, providing practical insights and invaluable points for arthroscopy in shoulder injuries.
As the day drew to a close, Course Director Dr. Mumraiz Salik Naqshband, on behalf of Chairman Course Prof. Faisal Masood, expressed sincere gratitude to Brig. Khalid Masood and Col. Khalid Zulfiqar Qureshi for their invaluable contributions. Their expertise and time generously shared during the workshop left an indelible mark, contributing to the success and enriching the collective knowledge of all participants.
